Holy Matrimony
Congratulations to couples as they prepare for the Sacrament of Matrimony. This page is meant to lead you through the steps for marriage preparation and to get ready for your wedding.
Wedding preparation must begin no later than six months before the desired date of the wedding. Please meet with the parish priest before you set up reception hall. St. Patrick's follows the requirements of the Archdiocese of Omaha. Listed below are the steps you need to take.
1) Contact Parish and Meet with Priest
Below is a link for the wedding request form. This form is completed online. Completion of form does not guarantee the desired date. After receiving the form, Father will set up a time to meet with you.
In addition, any annulments or other ecclesiastical marriage exceptions must be completed before the date is set.

The PDF linked below explains the preparation process. Many of the questions that you may have about the ceremony itself and guidelines are answered in this document.
3) Complete Education requirements
These requirements include : completion of the FOCCUS Marriage Inventory, attendance at either a "Marriage, A Journey For Life" workshop or a weekend "Catholic Engaged Encounter", pre-marriage counseling sessions with a priest, and liturgy preparation.ย ย These requirements are outlined further in the above document.
