Religious Education
The mission of St. Patrick’s & St. Joseph's-Amelia Religious Education program is to assist parents of public school students in grades PreK-6 in the Catholic formation of their children. Parents are the first and primary teachers of their children’s Catholic faith. The program works with the parents in passing down the fundamental teachings of our Catholic faith, preparing the children to live out their faith in today’s world.
Classes begin in September. St. Patrick's classes are held in the St. Mary’s Grade School classrooms on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. St. Joseph's-Amelia classes are held at the Chambers Community Center on the first Wednesday evening of the month from 6:00pm - 7:00pm.

FIAT advocates for our JH/HS students to form personal encounters with Jesus Christ by promoting a deeper understanding of the reality of God the recognition of His compassionate love in their lives through prayer, service, virtuous growth, and evangelization.
Classes begin in September. Locations and times are determined each year.
Youth Events
Below are just a few of the events we have participated in during recent years.
Totus Tuus
Totus Tuus is a weeklong summer youth program that combines catechesis and fun! It is open to 1st - 12th grade students and includes daily mass, catechetical instruction, songs, games, and recess.
Steubenville
Steubenville is a summer Catholic conference that encourages high school students to encounter Jesus through prayer, adoration, praise and worship, mass, and inspirational speakers. It is open to 8th - 12th grade students (current year).
March for Life
Quest
March for Life is an annual pilgrimage to Washington DC to pray and be a voice for life. It occurs in January and is open to 9th - 12th grade students (current year).
Quest is a weekend retreat for 9th & 10th grade students (current year). It typically occurs in the fall and focuses on the following Christian values: trust, honesty, forgiveness, acceptance, and understanding.
Safe Environment Training
At the Archdiocese of Omaha, we want the best for our children. That’s why all of our priests, deacons, staff and volunteers are required to attend our Safe Environment training – a program designed to help them become even more aware and responsible leaders while fostering a secure, joy-filled atmosphere for our children.
St. Patrick's Catholic Church works with the Archdiocese of Omaha in the training of adults in Safe Environment. The following is the Archdiocesan link that lists all available training dates within the near future:
