RCIA: About

OCIA Resources

Throughout the classes several resources will be used.

The section below will link any resources that may be of use during class.

New American Bible

In the Sacred Scripture, the Church constantly finds her nourishment and her strength, for she welcomes it not as a human word, "but as what it really is, the Word of God."  (CCC 104)

Catechism of the Catholic Church

A catechism is the name given to a written work that contains a summary of all the beliefs of the faith that is used as a teaching tool.   The Catechism of the Catholic Church is a wonderful tool to study our faith deeper.  Often we will abbreviate reference to this resource as CCC

Formed.org

This is a wonderful resource of videos and books.  You will find many of the Symbolon videos we use in class and also numerous resources for your leisure.  On the next page enter your zip code and select St. Patrick's - O'Neill
